Salas Jigs have been around almost since fishermen began seriously fishing the iron. Most of today’s anglers cut their teeth on iron fishing with Salas Jigs. Many models and colors have been made over the years but the light 7X and the heavier 6X Jr. and 7X sizes have become the standards of the fishing fleet. Anglers may augment their selection with jigs of another brand, but some Salas jigs are in every angler’s tackle box.
