BOOKING YOUR TRIP
A $200.00 deposit is required to hold each spot. The balance of your trip is due 90 days prior to departure. If your
complete balance is not paid in full by the due date, you may be replaced.
When booking your trip please include your full name, address, phone number, and date of birth along with the dates of your trip.
BOOKING YOUR OWN CHARTER
Charters are available. If you would like to book the entire boat, 24 anglers, you pay for 23 and the 24th goes free. Charter deposit
is $4800.00 for a San Felipe trip or $3200 for a limited load trip of 16. Full payment is always due 90 days prior to departure.
Cancellations must be received in writing 90 days prior to departure for a refund. If cancellation is received during the 90 day
period, we will hold your deposit until your space is filled with a new angler. All cancellations are subject to a $50 fee.
WHAT ELSE WILL I NEED?
All passengers must bring a passport, original birth certificate, or a notarized affidavit of citizenship, less than 1 year old.
Minors must have a notarized permission letter.
All persons bringing their car to Mexico are encouraged to obtain Mexican auto insurance.
RENTAL GEAR
Rental rods and reels, are available at Jig Stop Tackle. We can make those arrangements for you. We also offer custom tackle
packages at very reasonable prices.
BOARDING
Passengers are asked to board their gear during high tide in San Felipe prior to departure. You can check out the tides in
San Felipe online here.
SAN FELIPE PARKING
Vehicles may be parked in a fenced yard for the duration of the trip. The Erik provides a shuttle service to take you to and
from the boat. Upon arrival to San Felipe, go directly to the harbor. On departure morning, after you have loaded your gear
on board, you can follow the Erik's van to the parking area and leave your car.
FILLETING
Fish filleting is available for a nominal charge. Fish will be cleaned and packed in ice each day at no charge. You must
provide your own freezer bags and fish tags or markers.

Many people have asked about tips to their guide and crew. We offer the following guidelines, per person:

The crew tip includes fish filleting & tips for the deck hands, Engineer & Captain. These are only suggested amounts
as a tip is something earned for extra effort. Tip at the end of fishing.
The Jig Stop Tackle Store can organize a tackle "walk-through" for you and your friends to demonstrate the basic
fishing fundamentals and rigging techniques. Please call in advance.
All anglers who are paid in full on the The Erik will receive a one time 10% discount on the purchase of terminal tackle at Jig Stop Tackle
ABSOLUTELY NO DRUGS WILL BE TOLERATED EXCEPT DOCTOR PRESCRIBED MEDICATIONS.
FIREWORKS MAY BE USED ONLY ON SHORE AND ARE NOT TO BE FIRED ONBOARD.
